I say start the kid in the AHL.

Maybe bring in a guy like can talbot if he hits FA, he’s got starter experience and has excelled in the 1B slot/took over 1A when rittich faltered this year. Have Jones back him up and maybe half way through the season if this Russian kid is excelling in the AHL (assuming Jones is still sucking) bring him up to get some pro experience. Similar to what the rangers did with shesterkin except I wouldn’t have as high expectations with this kid.

I'd start him in the AHL to learn alongside Korenar and Nabby...The entire organization has had defensive woes this year and if a new coach with a new system comes in then he will be better served learning that system and North American style of play with smaller rinks in the AHL than up with the Big Club

Talbot is out of the question for most teams. He is a mediocre back up at best. Why would the Sharks want Talbot. See what the Russian can do in pre season if there is one and take it from there.
